Students will choose one of the listed Career Certificate Courses to complete as part of the Career Online High School Program

Career Preparation
In addition to completing a Career Certificate Course, students will also complete A Career Portfolio Course and are invited to join biweekly online seminars and monthly Career Webinars. Students also have eLibrary access.
Career Portfolio Course
As part of their graduation requirements, students will need to complete their Career Portfolio. The Career Portfolio course will teach them how to write a letter, resume, and essay. This course is designed to get them ready for employment in the career they chose!
Career Webinar
Every month, Smart Horizons Career Online Education provides students with a Career Webinar. Their webinar topics are chosen to inform students on career choices, job searching, and other helpful career preparation tips.
Biweekly online seminars are held to reinforce 21st century skills.
Through eLibrary, students can find images, video, eBooks, and 100% full-text articles from newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals. They can also find maps, transcripts, audio files, graphics, interactives, dictionaries, thesauri, encyclopedias, almanacs, atlases, timelines, slideshows, editorially created research pages, and hand-selected websites. Publications are updated promptly, and thousands of new images are added every day.
