Program Description
Career Online High School gives students the opportunity to earn an 18 credit AdvancED/SACS accredited American high school diploma and credentialed career certificate. Students graduate with the tools to take the next step in their careers or career-education.
Graduation Requirements
Students must successfully complete a total of 18 units (either through COHS or through a combination of transferred credits from an accredited institution and COHS credits earned) in the following areas to receive a COHS AdvancED/SACS accredited high school diploma and career certificate:

English (4 credits)

Social Studies (3 credits)

Math (3 credits)

Science (3 credits)

Health/PE (1 credit)

Career Elective Courses (4 credits)
Students can transfer in as many as 14 credits from other accredited institutions and only need to take the courses that they are missing.
Students have 18 months to complete the program; however, many complete the program in 3 to 4 months, depending on prior academic knowledge and speed of progression through the courses.
Admissions Criteria
All students entering Career Online High School must be at least sixteen (16) years of age prior to the first day of class and have successfully completed the eighth (8th) Grade at an accredited institution. Exceptions to this requirement will be assessed on an individual basis on application.
Minors will be required to obtain parental consent to enrollment and acknowledgement of responsibility.
Student Support
Our model offers the availability of extensive support with the flexibility of online delivery. Students have access to an Academic Coach, a Certified Instructor and 24/7 Technical Support.
To complement their coursework, students can attend regular live online seminars on career and academic topics.
